Doing a full inventory of all our little tidbits and there were quite a few parts that came up as “unknown”.So place your bets and let the Spit experts loose..Anyway here is the first piccie of some of the smaller stuff.:D

I disagree with Stuart on the item top right – It looks like an outboard flap mounting block.

Third row down on the left is a tail door mounting bracket for Mk 8/14

Second row down above that part is the double bracket for the rear leg covers.

The alloy nut IS a Spit wheel nut; they are aluminium.

****Nuts*****

We thought that too but it is ally and the wheel nuts we have ID,ed are steel. The pintle nuts are bigger and are steel as well.Corrections welcomed though..Thanks for the Id on the Fuse belly skin bit,Have a couple of hooks for the Slipper tank.Bit too far gone to be used but ideal to be patterned off.Amazing what a lump of rust can be used for..:D

Bottom left looks like a bit of the forward belly skin under the cockpit where the slipper tank connects. Is that a wheel nut top right?

Ahh so thats what they are..

Cheers Stuart.Knew you would be one to ID the cool stuff. Also center bottom and bottom left. One looks like a wing rib end and the other a piece of wing skin with the three holes and raised section.:o We think anyway:confused:

Top right hand corner, is the spacer block that sits in the front stub spar behind the lower engine mount, center top row, oil seal carrier/bearing retainer for main wheel, bracket almost central in pic, looks like wing aux spar fixing.
