Any news about the Barracuda reconstruction?

Basically what the title sez.

Any progress or activity on the reconstruction of the Barracuda at Yeovilton?
When I was there in 1999 the engine bay was on show. Later some substantial remains were recovered from wrecksites.

Just wondering

Cheers

It would be good to see this significant and underrated aircraft restored to its former glory in the not too distant future. How much of the aircraft does the museum have?

BTW at the risk of hi-jacking the thread, if anyone knows anyone who worked or flew on Barracudas, could they PM me? Thanks.

Thanks for the update.

Just received the latest Classic Wings and it was reported that substantial Albacore remains were recovered in Norway. But one is already on show at Yeovilton.

Cees, the project as far as actual construction is on hold at present due to other work having a higher priority
