Is much of her history known?

Her history was researched by her various owners in the past. An overvieuw could be found on the RLM website.

But a short version of the history of this aircraft is:

– Built in 1937 in Germany
– 1938-1939: Around this period, this Stieglitz was shipped to Argentina to be used as an example to built the Stieglitz under license there. Around 15 german built FW44’s went to Argentina for this reason.
– It returned to Germany in the eighties and was restored.
– 1990-2003: Owned and operated in Belgium as OO-JKT.
– 2003-2006: To the UK for another restoration in the RLM workshop.
– 2006- :Privatly owned and operated at Old Warden.
