Can anyone confirm that these rudder pedals carry the correct part number for the Short Stirling please.

Yes – S25 is the Sunderland type number and I have seen it on a few Sunderland parts as a prefix to the part number. However, I’m not really an expert on Short Brothers’ part numbers either.
With the Sunderland and Stirling produced in the same factory in Belfast, it wouldn’t surprise me to find a lot of commonality, especially in smaller parts. The experts in this will be at the Stirling project. Do they need rudder pedals?

I am by no means an expert on Shorts a/c but surely S25 numbers would be related to the Sunderland and Sandringham family…assuming the part number relates to a/c type.Or did the Stirling and Sunderland share certain parts?there is an obvious relationship between the two types.

Malcolm,
Any pics? Short Stirling type is 29, could the 25 be a 29?
Are they T-shaped when looked at from the front with fittings
for leather toe straps and transverse ribbing on top of the
pedals to prevent slipping?
Any pics would be better
Cheers
Cees
