Pilot was on the News last night. Apparently he landed behind the cop car & then had to “hop” over it…. I guess he lost the left wingtip somewhere behind the cop…

Stone me! Someone’s guardian angel was doing overtime! And as for the plods…
Funnily enough, my parents were driving past Andrews Field one day and there was a Cessna with its nose poking through the hedge – it had landed short and run through the hedge into the ditch. They must have arrived within a few seconds of it happening as the pilot was still in the cockpit.

Well done landing! the plane was a bit dented by a roadsign, but it could have been so much worse so easily. We had a Cessna set down on a road near here. it is startling to see a plane on the side of the road while driving to work, let alone dropping down into traffic!!!

An impressive landing considering all the obsticles, cars, bridges, barriers, lamposts and best of all the stretch he landed on is curved!!!!.

Nice one, it happens everyday in Braintree, we’ve had further nutters doing dodgy stuff overhead this morning, where do they come from I wonder, Andrews Field?
