Semi OT : Airfield in the "Dirty Dozen" film, where is it?

As per the heading title.

Just been watching The Dirty Dozen on DVD and am curious about the airfield used during the film (you know, the one where Donald Sutherland had to pose as a general and inspect the troops).

The IMDB seems to think its the one that used to be at Hendon, anyone know this for sure as they’ve been wrong about a lot of other things?
