Miss Velma & Friends – Duxford 05 Jun 07

Stephen Grey was having a look at his new arrivals and Miss Velma went up for a photo shoot with a large circuit of the airfield. The P.40 was having a compass swing and I believe still waiting for paperwork to be completed. ‘Brooklyn Bum’ disgraced itself by by having a leak all over the pan, but 20 minutes later was up in the air. As I was leaving what looked like a biplane with Swedish markings was being unloaded from a trailer in 2 hanger.

Brilliant pics there. Is that french thing a beaver?

No, it’s a Max-Holste Broussard. See here: http://www.warbirdalley.com/mh1521.htm

Nice pics indeed! I won’t be at legends so I’m counting on posts like this to get my fix 😀

Perhaps they can tow it out and they can pretend to shoot the hell out of it?…..

Doesn’t look like anything more than a slightly overfull fuel tank. Nothing too much to worry about!
