Keep the updates coming folks. This is getting interesting. Would love to see it get here as per the original intention but, sadly, I don’t think it’s likely somehow.

Go America,(the flyin boat that is)
She almost flew!!!:dev2:
But they just could not get her to unstick herself from the water.
The old 90 Hp Lib’s did not have enough grunt, they will throw in some 100/110 hp’s Lib’s now over the Winter break, and hopefully she will fly next year in 08.
Great work to all who built the new build ” America “, she’s look’s fantastic and as ugly as ever!! LoL..
That’s some seriously nice woodworking, nothing seem impossible to new build now, anyone want to try a new build Spruce Goose 😀

Flying boat Doh!
Great link thank’s 😉
H’mmmm I wonder just how much it did help british flying boat design’s  .
Like the bit later on when the Pom’s sold the Yank’s an improved model, of their own aircraft :dev2: .
But all that engine swapping and push or pull set up is a bit confusing sorting out the different model’s :diablo: .
But hey that’s the fun when ya start talking Curtiss aircraft  .
Oh that’s better I feel so much lighter on me feet now 😀 , now to start eating again, and some REAL FOOD!:dev2:
Oooo Rooo I’m off gotta crash, ” Gut Nacht “. Good moaning, good after noon where ever you may be 🙂
