Still, any landing you can walk away from.
I think you would have to walk away from that appalling woman!

On the brightside: it proves the strength of the Mustang’s gear. 😀
A few other WWII fighters with close coupled gear would have been wrecked by that landing rollout.

He may well have but the props were still going round at a fair old clip – you can see them impact the ground and stop instantly with at least two bent back slightly.
Scary bit of video. One wonders if the commentator had had a few lunchtime drinks…
Stand corrected, just watched it again, DOH!!!!!.

Holy S***!!!..
That was indeed a close call, at least the pilot killed the engine before the prop bent. (I think)
Does anyone know whose P51 it was or who was flying it,what damage was done apart from the obvious?

I hope that the pilot walked over calmly and cracked her one right on the nose end, ‘no big deal’?, I’m sure the owner thinks it is a hell of a deal when he gets the repair bill.

Hmmm yes I can see a few P51 fans throwing a wobbly. Bet the pilot had a brown trousers moment. As for the woman, its a close call as to what was the most scary, her or the iffy landing LoL Oh and her irritating voice or should that be screeching. :diablo: Bex
