Apart from a downpour when I first arrived, it was a dry, warm and pleasant day apart from a bit of a cross breeze despite the weather men saying it would be showery all day. The purpose of the visit was to give my new Tamron 200-500mm(300-750mm) zoom lens a tryout before Waddo and Legends so these are all outside piccies.
The Sabre began its take off run but there was a puff of white smoke from under the fuselage and the engine was throttled back and it trundled to the end of the runway and after a bit turned around, ran up the engine, and came back down the runway to park up again. The pilot gave a wave as he went passed, to the somewhat large crowd that had gathered to watch.
