Hi all,
I just uploaded a video to You Tube. It features Bob Swaddling describing the colours and markings of the Vintage Wings of Canada Spitfire Mk XVI, SL721. Bob likes to pay attention to detail and gave me a walk-around tour of the Spit, which of course I captured on video. You can find it at…

Looking forward to any comments you may have.
If anyone is looking at this using Mozilla or Firefox (or just about any browser other than IE) I would appreciate some feedback. I haven’t tested this page on anything other than IE yet. I hope it appears OK.

P.S. My on-line video collection is only in the early stages, but if you are interested in finding other videos of mine visit…

Thanks gents. All good tips.
I could easily break the video into two parts if you think that would be better. You Tube has a 10 minute max. What is a practical limit? Multiple parts is not a big deal as my site queue’s up the next video in the series with the “Next” link. You can also back up with the “Previous” if active.

Just watched on a Mac running Safari, came in just fine.
Perhaps a bit long, but covered a lot of information, don’t kow what I’d cut unless cutting to stills of what he is talking of as he is talking or some historic photos mixed in. The handheld camera gets a bit distracting after a while. A tripod with a smooth mount would help.
Sound quality generally OK, the power tools in the background at the beginning a bit distracting, but it does put you in an active hangar.

Hi Mike,
I have just watched it. It’s interesting to hear the complete story of the man who was involved in the job. It’s probably unique to have a video about this subject. So for me it is a good and interesting video. It’s a bit on the long side. What you could do, is insert some pictures in the long static monologues.
