de Havilland, last manufacturer of aircraft and engines?

As the title asks, were de Havilland’s the last manufacturer who constructed both their own aircraft and engines, presumably the Comet and the Ghost?

You can also add Propellors and undercarriages to the list of DH systems on aircraft such as the Dove. In fact the list of other suppliers on the Dove must have been a short one.

Bristol’s must be in there with a shout.

Bristol Freighter/Bristol Hercules

Britannia/Proteus

You could also argue the Bristol Type 223 SST (which evolved into Concorde) – powered by Bristol Olympus.

On the basis that it is de Havilland, the DH114 Heron, DH115 Vampire and DH104 Dove, were both in production after the Comet.

De Havilland also produced the engines for the SR53 rocket interceptor. At the time, Saunders Roe was in effect a sub division of de Havilland.
