Wellington crash pictures on e bay

I find these type of pictures fascinating, especially when someone comes up with a story behind the pictures.

This looks very much like Wellington II W5421 PH:G piloted by F/Lt Roy Brouard Langlois of 12 Sqdn, shot down 5-Aug-1941.

Langlois was a Guernseyman, and took part in the Great Escape from Stalag Luft III in March 1944. He was one of the last out of the tunnel, one of first to be re-captured and returned to the camp, which probably saved his life.

My guess is that this is a 12 Sqn Wellington II W5421 from Binbrook lost 5th Aug 1941. All crew POW which ties in with the writing on the back of image 2.
