Does anyone have any pictures / information regarding the service life of DeHavilland Dove 8 G-ARHX? As you read this (3-6-07) she is being moved from Aeroventure, Doncaster, to NEAM, Sunderland.
We know a small amount of her history, but would appreciate any more information you may have.

This was previously on display at NEAM before moving to Aeroventure.
The museum had a full history of the aircraft in addition to photographs of the aircraft in service.
There is also a photograph on G-INFO the CAA web site
Dave, I have recently re-joined NEAM after a ten year gap, and wanted to see if there was any information available in addition to what NEAM already has. I remember the Dove when it was there, and I personally am glad it is to return (today! – about now!).
Thank you one and all for your posts…
anyone got a pair of gypsy queens?…. ours are not too healthy – missing innards, cylinder head, ancilliaries…

It was never owned by Newark,
It was in fact owned by The Mosquito Museum at one point, before we traded her to Barry Parkhouse. Prior to us owning it, it was with an ATC in London somewhere. We never moved it to London Colney.

Correct. I went down to ATC at Southgate back in 1990 to recover bits and pieces for D-IFSB. She disappeared soon after and, as Bruce says, never went to London Colney.
