Australian Flying Corps!

I read this one as a tribute to a WW1 Pilot!

Capt. Roby. L. Manuel. D.F.C. No.2 Squadron (previously Infantry).

13 confirmed Victory’s, and of course more damaged or Unconned

He loved the SE5’s.

Farmer of Kerang, Victoria Australia. Born Kerang 7th October 1895.

I bumped in to a Lady at the 100th birthday of the Aeroplane, down at Point Cooky on the 17th December 2003.

The Lady said she was the youngest surviving Grandaughter of Roby, I have forgotten her name now, a very nice lady of around 70 at the time I think.

She told me some amazing first hand story’s of her famous Flying old pop!

He passed away in the 1970’s I think she said, RIP Roby mate!

That’s it 😉 , gut’s is churning once again, I’m off to the Royal Throne yet again 😮 .

Life’s a B@stard Bitch and then ya die! :dev2:

Ooooo Rooooo for now all 🙂
