Buccaneer Rebuilt-Not what you think!

Found an interesting article on the rebuild of a Buccaneer, but it’s probably NOT what most of you are thinking. It is a SB2A Brewster Buccaneer dive-bomber, know to those on your side of the pond as the Bermuda. Not a popular A/C, know to fail structurally in a dive, not a good trait for a dive bomber.

It has been restored and headed for display at the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola.

Here is the link to the article. Enjoy!

No problem, they have so much interesting stuff at their site and it is updated regularly. They have a large collection of photos and artifacts as well that you can do a search on with decent resolution pics.

I have got to get by there sometime when they are open, it always seems to be closed when we drive by. A mere 400 miles away, not exactly a day trip. They have a great Naval Aviation collection. Probably one of the best in the world for Naval Air.

Good news there then. Was also interested and sorry to divert your thread, but the Martin Marlin story is also very interesting and as the link is a little difficult to locate, here it is.
