Hi
Anyone remember this terrific series with William Woolard doing the narration ?
Some great footage and also an interview with Raymond Baxter. I used to have it on VHS but that is long gone – is there anywhere that it can be got on DVD ?
Thanks

The Episdode I remember was the one on Enigma – which I believe was the first time the story of Station X had been told to the general population.
An old boy who used to walk his dog past my parents, was astounded as he had worked at Bletchley Park and thought it was all still top secret.

There were 3 episodes I particularly enjoyed
‘Terror Weapons’ – some great footage of the V1 and V2
‘What if………’ – fantastic stuff about all the wierd and wonderful weapons (like the panjandrum and kurt)
‘To see for a hundred miles’ – the story of the radar war
all amazing and really well narrated
Awesome

Hi Darkstar,
I wholeheartedly agree that this is a fantastic documentary series – I have watched it many times over.
It is currently only available on VHS (see Amazon and other websites). I have sent a suggestion to the BBC that they should release it on DVD, but given the number of requests they deal with, I would be surprised if they listen.
