Chipmunk WG 307

A friend is repainting Chipmunk wg 307 from its current somewhat garish sunburst colours and would like to repaint it as it was in the days it was part of the Cambridge University Air Squdron His raisons for doing this are obvious when you look at it now.

Any pictures of it would be appreciated.

Here are a couple of black and white photos by Bill Fisher, the first from the 60’s or 70’s and the second from the 80’s.

Here are a few pics of the Classic Flight’s example, the flying shot was taken by Tom Everrit last march, I was going on a flight for my 40th, the badge was taken by me, this year.
‘PLO’s scheme was applied by members of the Jersey aero club , when the opertaed her and the badge was done with gold leaf apparently.
Hope these are of help.
I have some more but I cannot resize them for posting but I will happily send them on if you would pm me your email.
Cheers Alan

Nice pic! I’m sure Bruce would be interested in that as it is WP790 (‘T’) in the background (DHAMT’s aircraft).
