There was a knock on my front door just before mid-day and a nice lady from the Post Office delivered my replacement 170/500mm lens. Well. I just had to give it a try out didn’t I. Three quarters of an hour later I was at Duxford for the stragglers of the BBMF.
It was nice bright and sunny when I arrived, then rapidly went downhill and it was cold, windy and cloudy when I left.
