I am aware of the spooky history of the Lincoln at Cosford, and wonder if anyone else has experianced anything?
I wont post my details yet, to see if anyone else has experianced the same, but am prepared to say, it was damned weird!
I dont think this aircraft ever saw operational service did it?
For that matter which other aircraft have an “atmosphere”?
I have a pic of S’ Sugar on dispplay at Scampton and there are at least 3 faces in the glass!

Cosford’s Lincoln RF398
My Memories
I as a Engine Mech [at the time] in the RAF, worked on Lincoln RF398 when based at RAF Watton in Norfolk – between 1961 and 1963. No doubt my signature appears in it’s Form 700 several times. When it was delivered to RAF Watton, it still retained its original engine hand priming equipment – in the starboard wheel bay. I rtecall personally undertaking a modification by removing the hand primer and fitted a Plessey electric primer. Neverthetheles, WD398 brings back lots of memories.
If you are interested in it’s RAF service, see the book ‘Lincoln at War 1944 – 1966 – Mike Garbett and Brian Goulding’

All this fuss about the Cosford Lincoln is complete hogwash.
There is a perfectly scientific and rational explanation for strange faces in plexiglass or footsteps inside the rear fuselage. If people would only stop and think before relating their experiences, they would realise that it is perfectly obvious that the aircraft is haunted.
The Wrekin Gliding Club, when in their now demolished hangar on the NE side of the airfield, had a much more interesting ghost. He used to make light bulbs explode in the bar at midnight. This would be a bit of a shocking experience to any visitors but older members would nonchanantly reassure them by saying “Don’t worry. It’s only the ghost”.

Before everyone starts howling with laughter, I’m a spirituallist medium (and aircraft mechanic).
I have spent a fair amount of time around the lincoln at cosford and have not picked up anything significant. I know that talking about ghosts tends to rub alot of people up the wrong way, so I’ll make it brief and please note, THESE ARE MY PERSONAL BELIEFS AND I DO NOT EXPECT ANYONE TO TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THEM!!!! I’m simply answering the thread!
All I could sense was residual energy as opposed to a proper haunting. It has been said that every building or structure (aircraft) where someone has lived, worked or died has the potential to be haunted, so perhaps this is just the energy left from when the aircraft was in service. Maybe it has special memories connected to it, or even just the aircraft type.
Alot has been written about haunted airfields, and even Living TV’s Most Haunted program visited North East Aircraft Museum a few years back, so I’m not going to elaborate here.
Just keep an open mind…..
