Meteor Bentley at Millbrook. Video Clip

Whilst researching for a “Merlin-powered Cars” page to be added to our web site I came across this clip of Thunderbolt being run round Millbrook.
Turn up the volume and close yer eyes, priceless. . . .

I was only quoting from the rc moss website .

Oh yes, I`ve seen it now.
I guess you have to put it down to the fact that they are Bentley specialists?!
They can wear the pointy hat instead then.

Was actually there when he set the record very early morning and there was vast quantities of Red Bull in evidence, not for the driver just for everyone else.
It was very impressive to see and hear but what you don’t see is the state of Graham’s tyres at the end he was called in before he set the record to have them looked at as they were disintergrating very rapidly. 😮
Still what a record to set and one hell of a machine, the rest of Dick Moss’s restorations have all been beautiful seen most of them in parts in my uncles workshop having the paint applied. Lovely cars.:D
