On my last trip to Kissimmee I was able to see the restoration progress on Tom Blair’s P-38 Putt Putt Maru. It is undergoing complete overhaul by Lee Lauderback’s twin brothers. I must say, the work is impressive and it will be beautiful when complete. It is being returned to “stock” condition. I was also told that it will be resprayed in a new color scheme upon completion.
Also fresh out of restoration is a beautiful OV-10 Bronco for Stallion 51. What a cool and unique aircraft !

Latest FP states (via www.provenancefightersales.com) that the intentions of Glacier Girl’s new owner are to fly her to the UK in June…

Good to hear this Apogee.
Nice to know it’s being put back to ‘stock’ condition. 🙂
With his involvment with Spitfire ltd, I wonder if we’ll get to see it based at Duxford for a while?
Cheers
