De Havilland Aviation, XP924 and promotional sales items

Back in 2001 at Sea Vixen 50 I purchased an XP924 emblazoned black sweatshirt which I take great delight in wearing. It is now getting a little worn and a replacement would be welcome.

I have visited the De Havilland Aviation web site several times in the interim, filled in an order leaving contact details and heard nothing.

Is there any chance of procuring a new sweatshirt and maybe other items available?

Thanks for any attention.

Look at it this way, it’s fitting that a Sea Vixen fan would wear a boulebaseball cap.

What makes you think I am a fan, I used to have to work with the bally things. But then I guess nostalgia affects anyone.:)

What’s the url of that site please? My old favourites link now fails with a 404 and even a Googles returns have not caught up as yet.

TIA. 🙂

Guess this would be it as it has only had 1300 visitors so far!

The new website is up and running (went live yesterday), and the samples for the new Sea Vixen (and Gnat) range will be available shortly. If in the meantime there are items you require, please email via a PM with details.

Thanks.

Nice idea but for some reason I have an aversion to base-ball (or even baseball) caps. Thanks anyway.:)

Not surprising really. The DHA website has not been updated for nearly 4 years. Disregard it if I were you as regards information – the last updates were in summer 2003.

Yes. Thanks. It was about then that I ceased bothering.

I only hope things change.

Sea Vixen Merchandise?

Hi Phixer,

I wear my black XP924 zip fleece of similar vintage with similar pleasure, it’s even been as far afield as Banaglore and Florida, but it too is also starting to show it’s age…. but then so am I :D.

I’m sure they could raise funds by selling similar merchandise again – maybe the Red Bull link up made this difficult, perhaps as she’s now back in “proper colours” again (and No, I don’t want to re-start the argument as to colourschemes and who pays for them) then more “Foxy Lady” merchandise will be a possibility.
