I’m looking out for a source of the upper item in the attached photo.
It’s a type of universal joint coupling that locks onto the lower unit and then swivels on it as part of the throttle linkages in a Viscount, forward of the firewall.
The Viscount parts manual doesn’t detail them (they’re shown but not catalogued on one diagram). There are two numbers on it GR37944 and 70223 but I’ve not got far with those as yet.
If they are in fact a Rolls part then perhaps they’re common to the 748 and/or Argosy.
Any inputs appreciated. I do recall seeing a reference on the forum sometime ago about someone in Belgium or the Netherlands who had parted out a Viscount and were trying to sell off stuff, can anyone supply contact details?
cheers
