She looked better in Red Bull, but by then she was in dire need of a repaint as detail from the full size version (good enough out on SuperA3) of the underside shot used as Avatar shows.
Will be changing avatar as soon as I can get similar shot in new colours.

Am I the only one that thought she looked GREAT in the Red Bull colours. In military colours she looks merely okay.
I have watched her come and go many times from my desk and she is the star for all of us here at the VAI office overlooking Hurns runway. We see Tornados, Hunters etc come & go here & they are mostly ignored. However, even those who aren’t into aircraft loved the RedBull vixen. The aircraft is an extrovert with its unusual layout & high performance and extrovert colours suited it. I wouldn’t normally approve of the commercialisation but IMO the RedBull scheme really suited it.
I, for one, watched it take off last Thursday with a feeling of sadness that we had lost something special, it was like seeing a songbird that was no longer allowed to sing. It’s an EX-warbird so why can’t it just be a bird in the way that it does best.
I know this opinion is at odds with most, but (IMHO) we have lost something. I really hope a new sponsor is found and I even hope that they specify a colour scheme for Foxy Lady as suited as the RedBull livery was.

The aircraft looks fantastic in the colours she should and will be in for the time being.
Well done to the Vixen team, I would hope you are on the list to be down for the 13th Sept display.
All the best for keeping her in the air where she belongs look forward to her events for this year.

Finally the Sea Vixen looks like a warbird instead a billboard.
Be good to see her about a bit more this year, but does she have full sponsorship as i must have missed the other thread.
