7 Triplanes for Omaka

I see that 7 Fokker DR1’s are due to fly at Omaka (see link )

http://www.classicfighters.co.nz/ac/ww1.shtml

I also see that Peter Jackson has brought Javier Arango’s ex Blue Max DVII, so now he has Two Ex Blue Max Replica’s Remake anyone!!!!:D

Im supprised that they are not using the opportunity to fly the two Blue Max Rep’s together, the Pfalz DIII is only on static:confused:

Only the top one. 23 feet 6 inches.

And the bridge doesn’t seem to be that much wider!

Just out of interest, aside from the Richthofen planes, does anyone know whose colours the other five Triplanes fly in?

If you check the link in post 1 it tells you;)

Hi Guys.

Has anyone the wingspans of the 3 wings?

Nah! He can just CG out the wires for the crash sequences! And flying a Triplane under a bridge is child’s play! 😀

(really want to watch this now – will have to wait until tomorrow!)

I hope not…unless he promises to stay away from CGI for everything but crashes and really dangerous stunts.
After King Kong, I’m afraid P.J. has CG’d me out.

Found a video

I found this video of the seven ship flight a couple of days ago by accident. It’s an amazing sight and I wish I could have been there. I hope that this formation flight becomes more common.
