I remember a few years ago reading a glowing report on their achievements, but have heard nothing recently, any news?

Newark Air Museum’s November 2006 Dispersal newsletter contained a piece about the Auster leaving and it said:
“The space will also mean that the Monospar can be allocated immediate under cover accommodation when it returns from its off-site restoration.”
Last time I was at Newark the Auster was still on display and the Monospar had not returned.
Also in the aircraft list on the museum website the Monospar is marked up as still being off-site, so I presume that it is still at Innsworth.

I saw Steve Jones at the last Sywell airshow – they are winding down at Innsworth which is being sold for housing (their site has been under threat for at least ten years) The Monospar is still there as is their wonderful turret collecton but will be moving on anon.
Really nice guys and I wish them the best in finding a new home.
Thats the latest from me – current to Sept 06 – anyone know if they have moved yet?
