Attention Cockpiteers, Museum volunteers, etc

I’m carrying out a drastic thinning out of the many thousands of aircraft fasteners I’ve acquired over the last thirty years.

Most are BA or BSF threads, with heads of all types: mushroom, countersunk, raised, raised countersunk, roundhead, hex head, etc, all AGS or AS patterns, just right for those restoring wartime or postwar aircraft. Also rivets, washers, (some) nuts, fork ends, turnbuckles, eyebolts, shackle pins, taper pins, split pins, and clips.

There are too many to list, so please pm me with your specific wants lists and I’ll see if I can help out. I’ll be taking a selection to the aerojumbles this year, but I’d need several stalls to display it all.

If Mods feel that this is too much of an advert, then I expect they will delete it, and I’ll apologise in advance for breaking the forum’s rules. I did try to post on the International Cockpit Club’s site but it seems to be a bit slow at the moment, hence it’s appearance here.

Regards all!

Why, that’s our boootiful Bristol Britannia, G-ANCF , recently moved from Kemble to Speke and about to be restored to stunning static display.

If you’d like to stop by, with overalls and a paint brush….

Roy.

Roy if it wasnt for 2 things Id be there: 1: bit far to travel & 2: I got me hands full being a “Billy no mates” on our museums Cranberry PR7. :diablo:

Looks like you got ya hands full though, look forwards to seeing how you get on.

We might need one or two rivets if you’ve got em!

Slightly off topic, and I hope 628al will forgive me for this, but, WV838, nice photo but what is the jigsaw puzzle in the photo? Bex

There’s a good chance I can help out, but I need to know the types you want!

I’ll know a week tomorrow once the engineer has told us his cunning plan for putting the aircraft back together. At least I hope it’s a cunning plan!
