cockpit section query

Hi all,

Saw this lurking behind the parachute store at Wymeswold yesterday. Any ideas, anyone? What’s it off, if indeed it isn’t a mock-up or simulator?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Its the Trident cockpit procedure simulator that used to be at Cosford. Now looked after by the Trident Preservation Society.

Looks like a H.S Trident, seems not to have the small side oblong window above the main windscreen, so I wonder if its original or not?

The teardrop window seems to fit the bill, as I’ve just looked here: http://www.britishaircraft.co.uk/aircraftpage.php?ID=70 but I see what you mean about the small oblong window though (just noticed that!)

However, IS it the real thing? Unfortunately, I had to take this with the lens poking through a very robust fence, so this is as close as I could go.
