Could one of you knowledgeble types provide me with a bit of info about the
type of seatbelt fitted to SX336 please?
a/ What colour is it?
b/Is the main part (the bit that comes from behind the seat and attaches at the sides of the pan)a 3 or 4 point type?.i.e does it form an inverted “Y” as it goes over the seat,(3 point) or does it have two separate straps over the seat(4 point)?
c/Does it have the “crotch strap” fitted(the short bit that’s attached to the front of the seat to prevent the pilot from “submarining”)
d/Is the pilot’s brolly normally left in the seatpan so that on climbing aboard
he straps on the brolly and then SX336?
The only clip I’ve seen of John Beattie and SX336 is the Old Warden one on YouTube and it doesn’t show him climbing in.
Many thanks,Miggers:D

336s harness is a new 5 point, that is Y top and neg G crotch strap. In black. Parachute is normally left in the seat.:)
