After 31 one years of collecting, a rare and historic collection of propellers has just been listed for sale. There are many one of a kind, ultra rare propellers that have been meticulously restored and mounted for display. In addition, the owner has years worth of original maintenance manuals, magazines with original advertisements, and an impressive website as part of the deal.
The Smithsonian would like to make this collection as a center piece at the Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles and have written a letter showing their interest should a buyer want to put the collection on loan. The Smithsonian only has three duplicates out of 61 propellers…
