Hi All
This is our very first post, so if it is a mess, sorry.
I have been informed by Dave Walton himself, that we will be holding a full open day at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday the 27th of May 2007. It wil be advertised in the near future, once we know the level of participation that the Vulcan, XH558, will have. Max and myself, have been working hard over the winter on both our Jet Provost, XN584, and the Supper Guppy, which we have now installed some lights inside of, and are near to completing a major modification to install a second exit from the main deck, out through the rear hold door. So hopefully the long periods waiting to get in will be a thing of the past.
Make a note on the calender, and we hope to see you all then.

Already been following it Ben. :p
Odd little thing but strangley interesting. And this is from someone with little interest in military vehicles.
Will no doubt pop over and say hello to you at the event.
‘Fraid I wont be there mate – got a wedding to go to 🙁
But do make yourself known to Phil and Ade – I’m sure they would be pleased to show you round – its a shame would have liked to catch up!

If our Hangar is completed by then we hope to open it up on the day with our Beech 18, the Beech Volpar, Two Harvards and our T-6G Texan, plus a Kettenkrad…
Thereby enabling people to legitimately look round our hangar!

Evenin’ all – Ritch sent me the poster for the open day this afternoon, so here it is for anyone interested. Put it up on the website too. Should be a good day, all the usual action (not that that’s ever a bad thing!), plus fingers crossed should be good weather, normally tends to be at Brunty, so come along and support the guys looking after these aircraft to keep them blasting down the runway a few times every year for our enjoyment, and our eardrums pain

Welcome to the forum guys, and thanks for advertising the open day – really must get around to updating my Brunty website soon

Welcome to the forum guys,
A much better attempt at posting than my first effort. Indeed many would say subsequent efforts as well.
The date has already been noted in the little black book.
