Old propliners last night

Did anybody see “Nation on Film” on BBC2 last night? It was basically about the development of the package holiday and the parallel development of the Super 8 movie camera. Anyway there were some nostalgic shots of old propliners including the view out of a Viscount window with a Dart roaring away, the arrival of an unidentified DC-3 at Calvi, an air to air of an Eagle Brittania and quite a long sequence of a Caledonian DC-7, G-ARYE, arriving at a Spanish resort and decanting 3 of those super “Caledonian Girls”. It’s an ongoing series so who knows what else may turn up.
