After reading this, I was amazed that such a superb pilot never got the cross,swords,oak leaves and diamonds….what a travesty!
This story really impressed me, and I feel that Bar was one of the ‘forgotten’ Aces of his country, and what a tragic end to his life after surviving so much combat!
