former RAF Metheringham …. they have a wonderful visitor centre which makes a nice stop off point between say Lincoln and Coningsby / East Kirkby.

Seconded. Methringham then East Kirkby makes a good day out, particularly if there is an evening run of the Lanc.

former RAF Metheringham, Lincolnshire – a little far for you to visit now Pete but for anyone nearer who does not know; they have a wonderful visitor centre which makes a nice stop off point between say Lincoln and Coningsby / East Kirkby.
