Are these aviation related? or discarded by a passing motorcyclist?.
I found these awfully close to a Blenheim crash site in Essex.

Yes, Mk IV’s in use during 1940. I would say 100% certain must be associated with the nearby Blenheim crash. Andy Saunders

Safe to say 1940 for year of use?, if so, then it ties in with the date of the crash of this 25 Squadron North Weald machine. shot down by Hurricanes in mistaken Identity for a JU88.

Yes, I would say they are from the Blenheim. Ought to know the number (used to know the 22c stores number…how sad is that!) but these are Mk IV RAF flying goggles. The flip-up anti glare shield is attached to the bar across bridge of nose. Andy
