To mark the 25th anniversary of the use of Vulcan bombers in action during the Falklands War and the 50th anniversary of the types entry into RAF service, Newark Air Museum is presenting an evening of ‘Vulcan Bomber Memories’ hosted by Rowland White, the author of the best selling book ‘Vulcan 607’. This unique event will take place at the Palace Theatre, Appletongate, Newark, Notts on Tuesday May 22, 2007…………..”

Newark’s website has been updated with additional details about speakers at the Vulcan event.
“VULCAN BOMBER MEMORIES – UPDATE 01
As a further update to the Vulcan Bomber Memories event – the museum is pleased to announce that Hugh Prior will be the “Cold War Veteran” who will introduce the Vulcan’s cockpit and the various crew duties. Hugh Prior was AEO on XM607 for the Black Buck raid on the Port Stanley runway. [26.01.07]”
