Strikemaster colours

It is being proposed to possibly return Strikemaster 84 G-SARK to her previous Singapore air force identity of “311”. Would anyone have any info on the scheme used, specifically, paint shades for the camo.

I am currently researching the JP/Strikemaster family for a book and saw G-SARK last year painted blue overall in the back of a hangar at North Weald, looking rather dusty and unflown, so this is tremendously good news.

I have lots of photos of Singapore Strikemasters in my archives, but regret not ‘311’. They were all painted the same on delivery, the colours being akin to USAF Vietnam camouflage – two-tone green, olive green and a darker green, together with tan brown. Undersides were light aircraft grey, same as on USAF Vietnam aircraft. Dayglo orange bands on rear fuselage and wingtips and there were NO Singapore national markings above or below the wings. Here is ‘302’ and if you PM me, hopefully I can supply you with other views to complete the repaint.
