Update on the AACF pair:
Vampire T55 G-HELV is very much ready to go, its latest show was Leuchars ’06, it also showed up at the Kemble open day on the same weekend, look out for more from this machine in 2007. The Vampire also managed to reach Amman, Jordan during its longest trip out this year.
Venom G-DHVM (formerly known as G-GONE) has been quiet over the last few years, but a flurry of activity around this aircraft should see the situation change soon!

What’s happened to the Source fleet?
All are for sale, and most are in open store at Bournemouth.
One now ex-member is the aeroplane that Bruce has mentioned, G-DHZZ. It was sold to a new owner last year.
A Venom in an all-red colour scheme is on display at the Bournemouth Aviation Museum, I think it’s G-DHTT.
The Classic Flight acquired three aeroplanes for spares; a Vampire T.11 and two Venoms. These were static aeroplanes and I don’t believe were ever flown.

I think there are two Vampires and two Venoms at present.
One Vampire T-55 and a Venom FB50 with the Classic Flight
One Vampire T-11 with the Vampire Preservation society at North Weald
One Venom FB50 with Kennet
There is a further Vampire T-55 at North Weald undergoing deep maintenance prior to export.
