Dear all,
I have three rusty old lancaster outer necelle frames as well as 3 large wing panels which are up for grabs. These would make an intersting restoration job for a keen enthusiast…
One of the frames still has the firewall present along with various fittings etc.
The wing panels look like lower inboard material and are slightly corroded but would clean up with a light blasting or a good bit of elbow grease.
The only problem is that they are located in the north east of scotland near elgin…
They originate from the many lancs that were broken up after the war at lossie- definately worth saving
would like to exchange for some merlin parts if possible
get in touch if you want them- bare in mind its a long way from civilization and you would need a large van or tansit flatbed or car transporter sized trailer to get them.
will try to upload a couple of piccies… thanks chaps

interesting bits!
It amazes me what turns up.. From the looks of the skin in the one pic, looks like it was from a postwar lancaster….
