A View from the other side.

Hi everbody, thought I’d scan you part of a page from a new book just released by a German historian friend of mine. The book is about the history of the area in Germany where he lives. The six crew member shown in the attachment were killed when their Halifax from 102 (Ceylon) squadron DY-Z(MZ652) crashed near the town of Oeding on 17 June 1944. (The town of Oeding is in the area that the book is about). My second cousin is pictured on the bottom right. As you will probably all know, the Halifax carried 7 crew members. Sadly I have been unable to trace the final crew member, Ronald William Peel from Liverpool, however if anyone can help here…………………………………
