I don’t doubt that like me most forumites recieved DVD’s at christmas 😉
Well having just recieved a new catalogue from DD Home entertainment,I thought i’d tip you of about a couple of DVD’s that they have reduced in price.
First is the Warbirds over Wanaka 2004 DVD from £14.99 down to £ 9.99
For anyone who hasn’t seen it and wants to see probably the best footage available of the Breitling Fighters ,not to mention pilot interviews and plenty of other warbirds action.Easily the best £10 you could spend if you havent got it already!!
Second is Display Teams of the Royal Air Force,from £15.99 down to £9.99.
Another tenner well spent ,plenty of archive including Black Arrows,Yellowjacks,and early Reds.
Next two of fellow forumite sconner’s Classic Airshows DVD’s.
Duxford Airshows 1995 and Fighter Meet 96 & 97 are both 2-disc sets featuring all the old show stars including P-38 and Mozzie amongst all star casts on both discs (I bought the Fighter Meet one purely for the Mosquito display which is truly sensational and highlights the loss we all suffered with its demise )
A big well done to Steve for making the footage on those 4 discs available
I can’t remember what these two cost but I got them via Steve’s ebay shop and they are worth every penny without doubt.

Halifax at War is a great DVD (the whole at War series is) it contains a
lot of new footage as well as some nice views of the recovery of the aft fuselage section from a remote farm by 57Rescue and colour film of the Halton.

Thanks for that Steve. I put together the Display Teams compilation for DD and it was great to see the footage, especially the early Reds material with Ray Hanna looking just like Mark!
I have this on order but it is not released until 5th March 2007.:(

I watched the Mosquito sequence at my girlfriends on her new 42″ Plasma with the surround sound turned right up !!
The windows were rattling 😀 it was bl**dy amazing :diablo:
