Canberras at Kemble

Happy new year all 🙂

Does anyone know if the 3 Canberra’s at Kemble have been ground run since they arrived at Kemble last summer ?

Also will they be run at anytime in the next few months ?

Ground runs would depend on the anti-det schedule, assuming they are being looked after in accordance with military maintenance requirements.

It would be nice to see one do a taxi run at this years Kemble airshow, (hint hint) 😉

Even better with Europe’s only airworthy example doing a display overhead.;)

Ground runs are being carried out regularly on all three aircraft, yes. They are run monthly, so yes they will be run sometime soon. Times for ground runs are not fixed in stone, so can’t give a definite answer as to when.
