Happy new year to you all.
Has anyone any idea what this part is ? My first thought was it was from a Merlin rocker cover but on checking there are no shafts coming out of the covers (I think I had my cortina head on 😀 ) but it does seem to resemble the coolant outlet pipe assembly. Has anyone got a close up of this area of a Merlin or what else it may be

Thanks for the reply. Yes thats the closest thing I can see. I have another with a large Jubilee clip and part of a rubber connection but that one has been squashed flat so would not be a good photo

Possibly the coolant connection to the heads?
