Duxford 27th Dec

Made a special trip to see the Fw190, also noted the Tigercat is still there waiting for weather and has her big tank fitted…shall miss her. I have probably bored you before, but I adore the new hangar…it has the wow factor and it is possible to get a nice shot of each aircraft. The sight of a Clunk and a Canberra hanging up is amazing. Cheers and HNY one and all!

🙂 We popped into Duxford on the 27th to see the 190 and she is certainly getting alot of people showing an interest in her.
I prefer the new super hangar to the AAM hangar, that really was only designed for teletubbies LOL.It is seriously overcrowded and dusty in there now.

You went to Duxford, and you didn’t call in and say hello…. miserable b*gger!; can’t agree with you on the air (waste of) space hangar though,I genuinely prefer the American one; you should try taking a pram (or wheel chair)in the lift with doors on both sides, you steady yourself against the back wall only to find that it opens up at the other end ,and you spill out rather unceremoniously.
