Now I am complete!!!
This is a perfect replica of the helmet in Brass….the label says do not put on head!! Yeah right!!
If anyone thinks it is not Historic Aviation well it is as the film had a GeeBee amongst other aircraft, I am historic and I love aviation….merry Christmas to one and all from a happy Rocketeer, may you all get what you want and please Dear Lord, give us a peaceful and hopeful 2007

How’d you get your presents early:confused:
I don’t get to open mine til tomorrow! But, can I echo the comments above and offer best wishes to everybody for next year.

M20 or m 21 ?
The good ole M20 – wanted one for as long as I can remember, and was recently offered one (in bits, but everything’s there apart from the speedo, and some parts he has duplicates of), for £1250. I’m now going to Uni next year in London so there’s no point in getting a car just for a few months, so it’ll give me something to work on when i’m bored, plus in the summer I can trailer it to military vehicle shows and drive around on it 😀
Oddly enough, the missus seems more excited about getting the bike than me! Not that i’m complaining, of course :diablo:
Merry Christmas to all as well

BSA m20 / m21; I can think of one “spitfire boy” thats going to cross me right off his christmas card list . “Beware the wrath of a patient man”

I think I recognise this.:)
See adjacent post.
The part in picture “1” we also found on our B.26 excavation 31 years ago and have never had full firm I/D but we think it is part of one of the .50cal cheek guns but not a confirm as why would you put armour plate to protect a gun?. It has two fixing to wich make it look like a solid fix rather than a moving part.
