Reading a number of the postings here on the forum, identifying parts is a common thread. I have a good understanding of the RAF stores reference system and know how the “stores” numbers work.
When I have a query about a part that has a section reference number (e.g. 5A/1386) I have difficulty gaining access to the books that give a full description of the item.
AP1086 the “stores book” is where I look to found the answer.
I have identified that a number of posters to this forum have at least some books or sections of the AP1086.
Would those who do have a copy of this air publication please advise what sections they have in their possession and the date of publication.
I have section 6A dated 12th January 1965 and one dated 1941.
I intend to publish the contents this on the web at some stage once I have identified the fonts used etc. This is the subject of an earlier posting.

Hi Tony,
Yes it is the Air Publication 1086 book 12 that has rather a lot of sections. I can list the sections if that helps. We would like the complete book because we need all the information for an aircraft we are restoring.
Thanks,
Janet
