I see AI is reporting that John Bradshaw’s Fury has gone to a new European owner – I think in Holland and that it’s already left the UK. I don’t recall that move being mentioned on the forum before?

i was at the bournemouth aviation museum yesterday monday 13/11/06
and the sea fury was sat at the front of the hanger.
AI stated it left at the end of Oct :rolleyes:

I remember having a chat to him in a hangar at Wroughton with said machine not long after it came to the UK. Apparently one of the wings got damaged by a bullet on the docks in the USA whist awaiting shipment to him…… just a bit of trivia for you!

I was browsing through the aviation magazines in smith’s the other day and saw this too, although I think i read it in Aviation News. It has reportedly been sold and ferried to a new owner in France.
