Can somebody ID this for me please. Ref number is 5D/1482 and dated 1950 with mod date ’55 (although someone has tried to make it look like a 45). Type of ac that used it would be much appreciated too. I have a 5D listing but it’s too early for this part. Thanks.

I believe the 12/24 point Bomb Distributor was being trialled by Bomber Command right at the end of the European war, but I believe it’s operational use came in the post-war generation of aircraft – Canberra, etc.
