Paintball Hunter ?

Interesting reports on ICC of Hawker Hunter E-402 at Farnborough moving to a paintball park in Northern Ireland . Seems a little contradiction with the aims of F.A.S.T especially when I have been approached recently by a U.K museum wishing to acquire a Hunter and the original argeement of groups taking the Danish Hunters on from Hawker Siddeley was that they were to be preserved.

Dave,

Most of the airframes & cockpits are owned not by FAST but by seperate owners.

Without publicly going into why, E-402’s owner no longer wished to remain a Hunter owner and it was sold. They still have T.7 WV383 and XE650 nose on loan to them anyhow.
